Serre Chevalier
Over the winter season Serre Chevalier is one of the largest ski areas in the Alps with over 250km of runs.
The resort, made up of over 13 villages and hamlets, is spread over 4 main sectors: Briançon (Serre Che 1200m), St Chaffrey / Chantemerle (Serre Che 1350m), la Salle les Alpes (Serre Che 1400m), Le Monêtier les Bains ( Serre Che 1500m) on the edge of the " Parc National des Ecrins."
In the summer World Champion Luc Alphand's home town is a top destination for anyone in to active holidays (mountain biking, white water sports, hiking and mountaineering, horse riding, rock climbing, tennis etc. are all on the doorstep)
The resort, ideally situated between "Provence" in the south, Italy to the east and the Northern Alps, benefits from a wonderful climate and attracts visitors from all over the world.

John and Sabine, or Bean, will offer you the warmest of welcomes in a relaxed atmosphere with a Mediterranean feel.
They will be serving wine and tapas, teas, ice creams and delicious food influenced by flavours from around the globe. (Eat in or take away orders)

Winter, The "Bistrot " will be open from 4pm for an après ski beer or mulled wine. Snacks and tapas will be served until 7pm, when sit down restaurant service will begin.
You may reserve a table for lunch 48 hours in advance for groups of 10 or more. We can discuss your menu with you and serve you exactly what you would like.
Summer, The"Bistrot " will be open at lunchtime and in the evening when you can also make the most of the warm sunshine sitting outside on the small shady terrace. The restaurant is in the heart of the picturesque old alpine village of Chantmerle on a street that will soon be virtually closed to traffic.
